1/1250 Hansa conversion,  USS Springfield CLG-7 with lattice masts

Description

This is a 1/1250 model of a the US Navy guided-missile cruiser USS Galveston, CLG-3.  Springfield was a converted Cleveland class light cruiser.  This was once a Hansa model (I beleive) of USS Galveston, S138, that was converted to the "command" version of a guided missile cruiser.  B turret was removed and the bridge and flag bridge enlarged.  What is unique about this model are the two aft lattice masts, which are either brass or plastic lattice masts, not solid castings with detail painted on.  Please tak a look at the photo as this model is sold "as-is".
