1/1250 Neptun USS Juneau (II) CLAA-119 NE 2341

Description

1/1250 Neptun USS Juneau II.  This is NE-2341 and depicts CL-119 as she appeared in the 1950s Korean conflict.  While easily mistaken as part of the Atlanta class of AA light cruisers, Juneau II has several variances making her part of a sub-class.  Note the B and X turrets are on the main deck, not raised as on the earlier cruisers.  Also, Juneau II has 3" mounts  rather than the late WW2 40mm mounts.  Neptun models are finely detailed and painted.  This model is nearly new in its original box, with the packing still in place.  Note the tape has been cut for easier viewing and it appears A turrets barrels have been bent by the foam blocks- these will need to be carefully straightened
