    Description

    Antique AYNSLEY BONE CHINA HONEY JAR AND LID CIRCA 1940s, Made in England. Sold at Plummers Ltd., New York City, on 5th Avenue in the 1940s. Gorgeous item. Delicate bone china in the design of a beehive. Gold paint accents. Porcelain yellow and brown bee with blue wings on the top of the lid. About 4.5 inches tall. I am not an expert, but this seems in very good to excellent condition. I ran my finger over the surfaces and edges. I found no cracks, chips, or repairs. Only sign of wear is some staining on inside of lid and inside of jar where it meets the lid. This is normal if this item held honey or maybe jam. Please check out the photos.
