This is a beautiful SNAKE SKIN thimble. The hide is that of an Asian Rat Snake. It is very nice with a dainty look because of the small size - 7/8". It has a silver metal filigree cap with a single gold topaz Swarovski crystal on the middle of the apex. They make a great addition to a thimble collection and an exotic addition if you collect unique and hand crafted thimbles. I have a good variety from different types of shakes.  It has Boulder Bay as maker inside and is in NEW condition.
