Cisco NM-16A Asynchronous Network Module
This module is commonly used to add Terminal Access Server functionality to your router. Great addition for a home lab, or environment requiring many console connections. Reconfigure or troubleshoot your network remotely without having to move a console cable between devices.
The network module has been previously used, but it has been professionally tested. All ports, console lines and cables are fully operational. The module supports up to 16 asynchronous connections.
You will receive (2x) CAB-OCTAL-ASYNC cables with this module. There are 8 asynchronous connections per cable, allowing a total of 16 console connections. The cable length is approximately 1 meter (about 3 feet).
The cables are brand new, but may be removed from the original packaging in order to test them with the module. This ensures the equipment you receive
will be fully operational.
For those familiar with Cisco NM-32A modules, the NM-16A module functions the same way except it only supports 2 octal cables for a total of 16 asynchronous connections.
This module is compatible with Cisco 2600,
2800,
3600, 3700, 3800 Series routers that have Network Module slots.
