    This model has
    NEVER
    been touched, taken out of the box or displayed!  It's literally brand new!!  In fact, this is the first and only time the outer shipping box and styrofoam casing have ever been opened to show the complete original packaging as it was done by Franklin Mint!
    You can see the still wrapped
    paperwork documentation binder with Certificate of Authenticity (also untouched) for the ship.  Once these pictures were taken, the outer box was resealed.
    On the other side of the base is a nameplate that shows the numbered limited edition, and is SIGNED by the Captain of the submarine, Slade Cutter...a four time
    recipient
    of the Navy Cross!  The ship is approximately 24" long, made out of solid mahogany and is also hand painted!  It's a very rare and hard to find piece with only 1,943 pieces made worldwide!
