    Description

    For your consideration we have the lead ship of the Royal Navy's E-class of two light cruisers, namely Emerald and Enterprise. The ships were 570' long and were in commission 1926-48. This waterline model is 1:1200 scale.
    Emerald-class:
    * Saw action throughout WWII in the Atlantic, the Med, Far East Fleet, and at Normandy to        support the D-day landings.
    * Main armament was seven 6" guns and four quad-tubes for torpedoes.
    * Among the fastest cruisers of the war, with speed of 33 knots (38mph).
    * Model is 5.75" long (145mm). Royal Navy Walrus seaplane on the catapult is included.
