    Description

    What we have here is an unusual set of 3 old metal Tootsie Toy ships and I was told these were re-issued in the 1990s. Included are: a 5 1/2" battleship, a 6" Queen Mary ocean liner, and a 5 1/2" freighter. The toy ships are still fastened down to their original turquoise-colored plastic package mount but the clear top part of the package is gone. The toy ships are very well made with good detail but they differ in detail from the real 1930s Tootsie Toy fleet. There is some slight wear and the clear package-top is gone but over all the 3 ship display is in excellent original condition and the toys have never been removed from their base. Underneath the base has a label that says it is number 03328 out of 14000. I believe this set came out in the 1990s. Unusual and very nice!
