    Description

    No maker's mark on this very old brass stop latch casting reel featuring solid brass construction, counter balanced S-shaped handle with black grasp, and face plate rim mounted stop latch.  Reel measures about 2 1/8 inches in diameter with a 1 1/2 inch spool width.  Reel is in good used condition as seen in the pics with a nice dark patina. Mechanically smooth action but the stop latch is not working.  I did not take the reel apart to see if the issue could be fixed.
