    Description

    Carlton Mfg. Co. 9 Multiple casting reel featuring nickel plated brass and hard rubber construction, center mounted adjustable counter balanced handle, wide 1 7/8 inch spool, and back plate rim mounted clicker and brake.  Reel foot is marked with the number 100, the face plate is marked Pat. Oct. 27 '03 and the back plate is marked 9 Multiple - Carlton Mfg. Co. - Rochester N.Y.   Reel is in nice polished condition as seen in the pics. Mechanically the action is pretty smooth but very noisy, with a functioning brake but a non-functioning clicker.
