Old Vintage HORROCKS-IBBOTSON CONTEST No. 1915 Spincast Reel + Box + Paper

Description

Unusual old Horrocks-Ibbotson Co. Contest No. 1915 spincast reel featuring gold and green anodized finish, double handles with black grasps, unusual thumbing action, and spool housing mounted anti-reverse switch and tension knob.  Reel foot is marked Pat. 2514345 - 2613882 and the reel is marked Contest No. 1915 - H-I Co. - Utica N.Y. - Made in U.S.A.  Reel is in nice used condition as seen in the pics. Mechanically smooth action and a fully functioning anti-reverse.  Comes with the correct and original reel box that is shopworn but sports great graphics  and a full label.  The original instruction booklet rounds out the package.
