What you are purchasing:
7-slot reader unit flashed with latest firmware at time of shipping, USB cable for power and firmware upgrades, US AC adaptor, 16GB SD card set up and ready to use.
The OSCR is a standalone device powered by USB that allows you to back up your physical cartridge games and game saves for multiple different game consoles to a file stored on an SD card. You can also flash game ROM files to flash-able game cartridges, and restore backed up game saves to physical cartridges (very useful for retaining your game saves while performing a battery replacement).
