Model 40 Penn Seahawk reel, made from 1938 -1940, this is a 4 post model with patent pending plate, chrome metal spool, resin knobbed handle, waffle clicker on engraved sailing ship side plate. Marking on stand is 250 yd. Reel metal finish shows some signs of use, a couple small chips on head plate rim from use of the eccentric lever, no cracks. Reel winds and free spools smoothly, the clicker is strong. An interesting addition to your collection
