Description
Here is a scarce Super-South Bend No. 1300 level-winding, anti-back-lash fishing reel, made in South Bend, Indiana. This reel was introduced in 1931 and was only produced through 1932. This was South Bend's top of the line reel for the time, priced steeply at .50. Sideplates are made of aluminum alloy, with fancy, chromium plated pillars and double-knurled genuine agate jeweled caps. Nice, ivorine winding knobs. Clicker engages via the wheel control on the rim. Also features an anti-back-lash dial and bar over the level-wind mechanism. A tough reel to find in any condition. All features of the reel are in working condition and all parts are original. A great one for any collection!Other Details:
