Very well made and sturdy. My grandson is five years old. He is small for five. So the desk isn't really big but it's perfect size for him. He absolutely loved it. Having all of his art supplies in one place made everything easier for his parents and for him. He says he wants to be an artist when he grows up!

It is multi purpose doodle that can be written on and has a paper holder plus is magnetic....I tried it in every way and it works awesome. It doubles as a desk which is great too. It has a tons of storage space which is really amazing. It is strong and sturdy. We are enjoying it very much. I would say it is ideal for ages 18 months through maybe 4 years old. My kid is 22 month old.
