Offered here is a gorgeous vintage Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops letterman sweater from the 1920s or 30's (pre-WWII).
The sweater is made of red wool with a large black chenille letter W sewn on the front. The sweater is tagged from
THE SUTCLIFFE CO. INCORPORATED, ATHLETIC GOODS LOUISVILLE, KY., DISTRIBUTORS" And Underneath Reads: "SAND KNIT ATHLETIC KNITWEAR SAND KNITTING MILLS CO." Tagged Size 42. Some Holes To Sweater (See Pics).
