    Here is a vintage round level-wind bait cast reel that’s in great condition. It’s an
    ABU Garcia
    Ambassadeur F.I.V.E.
    reel made by Abu Garcia, Sweden, circa 1970’s/1980’s. Many of these reels were made for the Asian market, particularly Japan. The numbers appearing on the bottom of the reel foot are 87-1 87-88.
    The reel features a black enameled aluminum frame and spool, other metal parts are polished aluminum, and other parts are composite/graphite, 3-screw take-apart, on/off free spool, auto anti-reverse, and black dual handle knobs, which turn freely.
    The reel is in
    EXCELLENT
    condition, like-new, clean, and functions like a new reel. There are a few extremely minor scratches here and there.
    The gear ratio of this reel is 5.3:1. It measures 2 ½” in diameter and 2 3/8” across the side plates and weighs 8.2 oz. Line capacity is 250 Yds. of 12 lb. test line.
    A very nice cardboard reel storage box is provided.
