VINTAGE LARRY WILSON RIDDELL MICROFIT FOOTBALL HELMET WITH RARE BD 9 MASK!!!

This is an auction for a Larry Wilson Replica helmet.  This helmet is made up to be exact to what Mr. Wilson wore toward the end of his career with the Cardinals.
This helmet is a first generation style Riddell Microfit football helmet.  The microfit helmet (aka HA 9) first came out in 1969 and was revolutionary.  Never before had air inflation ever been considered for offering protection in a football helmet.  This helmet has 5 individual inflation points in it.  It is date stamped 12/70.  It has all of the original markings and stampings on the back of it.
The inside padding shows signs of over 50 years of being in existence, yet is still in very good, soft condition.
The BD 9 facemask is actually a little older than the helmet.  It is date stamped D 9, which when looking at the mostly worn
RIDDELL
stamp, means that the mask is from April 1969.
