VINTAGE MACGREGOR MH 100 CLEARSHELL FOOTBALL HELMET WITH RARE MARIETTA MASK!!!

This auction is for a very well "loved" MacGregor MH 100 football helmet.  There is a "69" stamp on the Geodetic Suspension which means it's from 1969.  This helmet is a clearshell, but it was painted over long, long ago.  Some of that paint was removed and you can see what logo is under that paint in some of the pictures.
The padding inside the helmet is quite hard and has seen quite a bit of use.  As many of you collectors know, the MH 100 padding was attached to the helmets using little plastic pins.  In this one, the pins obviously fell out, so the owner replaced them with screws!!!
The Marietta mask has come detached on one side of the helmet, but is still firmly in place on the other.  Beside the fact that the mask has significant paint overspray on it, it is in great condition!
This is a great project helmet...if nothing else, to pull the facemask off of!!!  Sadly, it's a project that I just don't have time to work on.
