For your consideration is a very early circa 1902 Wm Shakespeare Jr Standard #2 bait casting fishing reel. Some highlights include: Brass, silver plated, quadruple multiplying reel. Having English silver steel journals and pinions. Dual thumb wheels for drag and rim click. Both work perfect. All original and in excellent overall condition. This model held the world record for accuracy and long distance bait-casting. Runs extremely smooth with a touch to the handle.
