Vtg 1920s TEMPLE OWLS Varsity Soccer Football Letterman Sweater Charles Bartlett

Description

Offered here is a spectacular vintage Temple University letterman sweater worn by Charles Bartlett in the 1920s.  The sweater features a large white letter T on the front with letters AF on the side.  I believe the "F" stands for "football" as I have seen other lettermen sweaters from this time frame with the AF denomination and the athletes who owned the sweater had played football or soccer.  This sweater is made of thick wool by W.H. Brine.
Here are the measurements:
Length: 25 inches (top to bottom)
Chest: 19.5 inches (arm pit to arm pit)
Arms: 58.5 inches (wing span)
Note:  I have identified a Charles Bartlett on the faculty at Temple in 1922.  Could this be the person who originally owned this sweater?  I do not know but this seems plausible.
