    Description:
    The item up for bids is a fantastic 1930s art deco chrome toaster in its original box. More specifically it is a General Electric Model No. 149T48 'Expan-Dor' Toaster. It has a fabulous art deco design with speed lines, stars, and stylized sheaves of wheat (the design has a Lurelle Guild feel to it but I can't find an attribution that authoritatively pins down a designer). The polished chrome is accented with black Textolite handles and black non-scratching fiber feet. The toaster comes in its original GE cord with molded plug. This toaster is ready for the museum or to be used, have some fun and bid!
