U.S. forces conduct strikes against “Iranian-backed militia targets” in Syria

WASHINGTON, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) — U.S. forces carried out strikes Tuesday against targets linked to an Iranian-backed militia in Syria, the U.S. Central Command said.
The strikes targeted the group’s “weapons storage and logistics headquarters facility … in response to a rocket attack on U.S. personnel,” it said in a post on social media X. ■
